Here, have a free album. And chill out.
Thanks for the comments guys. I think I was being too dramatic with my earlier post. Reading it now it seems embarrassing, but if you must, it’s up here. Too much coffee or something. Anyway,
Well, I know I haven’t done Tuesday Tapes the last two weeks. That will all change tomorrow! Meanwhile, I am going to try and finish these songs by Friday at midnight (what am I thinking?) – Surfin’, Sarah, (New Pretty Song), Radio, The Times Are Changing, Liar, (Sugar), (Big Girl), Fool, and……maybe Such A Long Time Ago. And maybe more.

Chris, I think you should just keep doing what you do and kick booty. Don’t let the internet bile of a few rabid fans taint your life and what you do. If anything, they should make you stronger and more determined.
Stevie Wonder thanked his bullies.
your music rules. rooney sucks.
I guess Rooney knows where to buy keyboards, but not where to buy lessons?
Yahtzee Croshaw AND Christopher Hitchens?… Whoa. I may be straight, but I have big, gay love for you Chris. If you didn’t already know that.
Congratulations on your new evil minions, and I can’t wait for the legit, produced version of Surfin’ (my second-favorite Tuesday Tape after “Show Me What You’re Made Of”.)
Bravo Chris Bravo
Dear Chris:
I’m not sure what I can possibly say that could help you right now. Try to open your heart and your eyes to what is happening to you. The road you have turned on is very dark and dangerous. Like many young people today, you are unhappy and confused about many things. Hurting people with what you call “the truth” is not the answer. Real truth is healing and reconciling and sows seeds of love. Think about how you are alienating yourself from people who love and care about you–like Cathy–who has worked for you, not for money, but because she really cares and believes in you and your music. Please stop now before you do anymore damage to yourself, your friends, your fans and your music career. Turn towards the light again. Sing the song “Amazing Grace”. It will soothe and heal you.
I write this out of love and concern for you.

Great Art has had a history of controversy. So considering that, you are on the right track! And, oh please, you are FAR from being a narcissist. It is the authenticity of your music that makes it such rare gem and a pure joy to listen to
My best wishes to you.
Great music like yours can live well beyond your lifetime. Comments from lazy trolls who often contribute nothing artistically, fade away almost as quickly as their petty thoughts are written. Your contribution goes farther than you think.
Build your army, and watch the trolls fade impotently away!
Oh…nice things are being said.
I’ll stick by ya mate.
Get these rabid Hanson fans off my back! Please!
I still have all the love and respect for you Chris. Hopefully, all the people who left you negative comments secretly listen to you music. I doubt they forget your name anytime soon. Keep being real.
“dark and dangerous”? seriously?
Chris you rock. Don’t forget:
“Everyone gets a chance at cybermocracy. Maybe I’d like that more if people didn’t suck. Turn down the voices of the singularity and turn up the MUSIC!”
I’m so stoked for Virginia is For Hoverers Pt. 2!
wow, what a bunch of sillyness. Almost everyone thinks too highly of themselves and is too protective of their own delusions of their own importance.
Don’t get distracted Chris! Fulfill my dream and your dream of you filling my head up with your musical awesomeness!
Dear Chris:
Virtues dispose us to behave rightly in specific circumstances. Each virtue makes its possessor good, and makes his or her actions good. Virtues seek a middle course between the opposites of excess and defect, and each demands a firmness of mind, so that the virtue may be practiced readily and repeatedly. Because this last quality – firmness of purpose – is the quality specific to the virtue of Fortitude, we can see that Fortitude is a necessary condition to every virtue.
What sets Fortitude apart from the other virtues is the capacity it gives us to face hard tasks and accomplish difficult things. Fortitude strengthens our will to follow the good of reason despite our fear of failure or hard work, and it places limits on our will when our will is moved to some rash action. St. Thomas Aquinas taught “Fortitude is about curbing fear and moderating daring.”
If we ignore danger or destructiveness through pride and disregard for ourselves or others, we are not practicing Fortitude; in fact, we are ignoring the virtue and doing nothing more than courting unnecessary harm. St. Ambrose described eloquently the genuine appropriate calm that accompanies the virtue of Fortitude:
“The brave man is not unmindful of what may be likely to happen; he takes measures beforehand, and looks out as from the . . . tower of his mind, so as to encounter the future by his forethought, lest he should say afterwards: This befell me because I did not think it could possibly happen. . .”
Chris, you are a man capable of great virtue. Your music has the potential to do great good in an industry plagued with much corruption of body, mind and soul. Move beyond what has happened this week and make a new start, based on virtuous and noble deeds which I believe can resonate in your life that holds so much promise of goodness and love.
Written with love and compassion,
Mrs. Runge
Wow, how true that is. Thank you so much, Mom, for sharing this with Chris and everyone reading this thread.
