    Hey Chris,

I’m wondering what the song you did for Time Warner Cable is? There’s a particular commercial where this guy goes off to college and it shows him growing up. In the background is a really soothing song – mostly a male solo with acoustic guitar. I might be mistaken on most of this, if so, I’m sorry. My favorite songs of yours have always been “Tarmac” and “Surfin'”…typical favorites probably, but oh well.

  2. I’d also like to know the name of the song in the Time Warner ad and also how to buy it. Is it on itunes or on an album you have out now?

I would ALSO like to know the name of the song from the ‘back to school’ TWC commercial. Shazam wasn’t able to recognize the song. I’ve searched all over the interwebs and have been led here in hopes of finding that wonderful song. Would love to buy it on itunes. Thanks!

You may not remember me but I came to your show in Brooklyn. I’m friends with Bobby McCullough. Anyway would just like to congratulate you on the song you placed in the Time Warner Commercial. I just heard it on TV now. Awesome

  7. Hi Chris!! I’m SO happy for you! I heard the Time Warner commercial about the guy going to college and I KNEW that voice! I told my daughter about it, and couldn’t place where I’d heard the voice. When I googled it and found it was YOU, my FAVORITE piano teacher, I was so excited!!! Hope you still come out to Cali to visit and you can still see us at the beach, okay?
Hey you still remind me of the great Jackson Browne singer and his style of music. I know you will continue your great music! Congrats!!!! —— Your student from Rockstars, Susan …..

    Hey Chris,
You may or may not remember this, but you called me on my birthday two years ago through contact with my dad, Ben. I just wanted to reach out and tell you that your music means everything to me. I listened to Pixie and the Bear non stop for a year straight it was probably all I listened to. As I grew my music taste changed but I recently heard a song of yours come up on my iTunes and I was overwhelmed with the realization that I will never stop loving your music no matter how many years go by. Keep doing what you are doing and know that I am and will continue to keep up with the music you make as it is truly special to me.
